How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of the herald, the bringer of good news, announcing peace and salvation.

Opening Prayer

God our Father,

you inspired Saint Vicelin

to serve you in the canonical life

and to proclaim the truth of the Gospel to the pagans.

By his intercession,

may we make progress in the imitation of Christ

and work for the coming of your kingdom.

We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,

who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit,

one God, for ever and ever.

Prayer over the Gifts

God of mercy,

hear our humble prayer

and free us from all guilt.

Let your cleansing grace

purify us as we serve you in these holy mysteries.

We ask this through Christ our Lord.

Go out to the whole world and proclaim the Good News. I will be with you always, to the end of time, says the Lord.

Lord God,

may the sacrament we have received

sustain us in the faith first preached by the apostles,
