Entrance Antiphon Jer 3:15

I shall give you shepherds after my own heart,

and they will feed you on knowledge and understanding.

Opening Prayer

Lord God,

you filled Saint Peter

with the spirit of truth and love to shepherd your people.

May we who honor his memory learn from his example

to help everyone and hinder no one on the way to salvation.

We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,

who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit,

one God, for ever and ever.

Prayer over the Gifts

Lord,

receive this sacrifice of your people.

May we who offer it to your glory,

in honor of Saint Peter,

be helped on the way to eternal salvation.

We ask this through Christ our Lord.

Communion Antiphon Mt 20:28

The Son of Man did not come to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.

Prayer after Communion

Lord,

we have received the sacrament of heaven,

as we honor the memory of your saints.

Grant that what we celebrate here on earth,

may come to fulfillment in the joy of heaven.

We ask this through Christ our Lord.
