Lord, you are my portion and my cup; you restore my inheritance. The measuring lines fall for me in pleasant places; my inheritance is my great delight.

Opening Prayer

Lord God,

you made abbot Ponce renowned for his zeal

in promoting the canonical life.

May his prayers and example

help us to live in holiness

and to worship you always in spirit and in truth.

We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,

who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit,

one God, for ever and ever.

Prayer over the Gifts

God of mercy,

you changed the life of Blessed Ponce

and created him anew in your image.

Renew us in the same way,

so that our peace-offering may be acceptable to you.

We ask this through Christ our Lord.

Communion Antiphon cf Mt 19-27-29

Truly I tell you, that you who have left everything and followed me, will be repaid a hundred times over, and gain eternal life.

All-powerful God,

may we who are strengthened by the power of this sacrament

learn from the example of Blessed Ponce,

to seek you above all things

and to live in this world as your new creation.
