COMMEMORATION OF THE DECEASED MEMBERS OF THE CONFEDERATION

Entrance Antiphon Rev 14:13

Blessed are those who die in the Lord. Now they can rest for ever after their work, since their good deeds go with them.

Opening Prayer

All-powerful God,

for love of Christ, your servants, the members of our Confederation, walked in the way of perfect charity.

May they rejoice at the coming of your glory,

and enjoy the eternal happiness of your kingdom

in the company of their brethren.

We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,

who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit,

one God, for ever and ever.

Prayer over the Gifts

Lord God,

as your Son offered himself as a living sacrifice to you,

receive the sacrifice of your Church.

Free your servants, the members of our Confederation,

from all their sins.

May they be found worthy to achieve the reward of immortality.

We ask this through Christ our Lord.

Communion Antiphon Jn 6:50

This is the bread come down from heaven, says the Lord. Anyone who eats this bread will live for ever.

Prayer after Communion

Lord,

as we receive the sacrament of heaven,

we humbly pray for your loving mercy.

By the power of this holy gift, may your servants,

the members of our Confederation,

receive forgiveness of their sins,

enter your kingdom,

and praise you there for ever.

We ask this through Christ our Lord.
