SAINT BERTRAND OF COMMINGES. BISHOP

Entrance Antiphon Ps 131:9

Let your priests, Lord, be clothed in righteousness; let your saints shout for joy.

Opening Prayer

All-powerful, ever-living God,

you made bishop Bertrand

a shining example of canonical life,

and an outstanding shepherd of his flock.

Grant that we may run our race

along the course he marked out for us,

and so deserve to win the prize of eternal life.

We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,

who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit,

one God, for ever and ever.

Prayer over the Gifts

Lord,

receive this gifts of your people

which we offer you on the feast of Saint Bertrand.

Through them may we experience your loving help

in which we place all our hope.

We ask this through Christ our Lord.

Communion Antiphon Mt 24:46-47

Happy the servant whom his master finds at work, when he comes. Truly I tell you, he will be put in charge of all his master’ s property.

Prayer after Communion

Lord our God,

you have nourished us

with the sacred body and precious blood of your Son.

May what we have done with loving devotion

bring us assurance of redemption.
