Entrance Antiphon I Sam 2:35

I shall raise up for myself a priest who will be faithful. He will do what I have in my mind and in my heart, says the Lord.

Opening Prayer

Lord God,

you gave Saint Chrodegang to your people

as a minister of eternal salvation.

May we who had him for our teacher here on earth,

be found worthy of his prayers for us in heaven.

We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,

who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit,

one God, for ever and ever.

Prayer over the Gifts

Lord,

receive this gifts of your people

which we offer you on the feast of Saint Chrodegang.

Through them may we experience your loving help

in which we place all our hope.

We ask this through Christ our Lord.

Communion Antiphon Jn 10:10

I have come that they may have life,

and have it in all its fullness, says the Lord.

Prayer after Communion

Lord our God,

you have nourished us

with the sacred body and precious blood of your Son.

May what we have done with loving devotion

bring us assurance of redemption.

We ask this through Christ our Lord.
