SAINT ALBERT OF JERUSALEM, BISHOP

Entrance Antiphon Ezek 34:11,23-24

I will look after my sheep, says the Lord, and I will raise up a shepherd who will pasture them. I, the Lord, will be their God.

Opening Prayer

Lord God,

in Saint Albert you gave us a model

of the apostolic life.

With the help of his prayers,

may we live always in obedience to Jesus Christ

and bear faithful witness to his resurrection.

We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ,

your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit,

one God, for ever and ever.

Prayer over the Gifts

Lord,

look kindly on the sacrificial gifts

we place on your holy altar

on this feast of bishop Saint Albert.

May our offering bring us your forgiveness

and give honor to your name.

We ask this through Christ our Lord.

Communion Antiphon Jn 15:16

You did not choose me, says the Lord, No, I chose you; and I commissioned you to go out and bear fruit, fruit that will last.
