Opening Prayer

All-powerful God,

grant that we may follow the example

of bishop Saint Ubald.

May we prefer Christ to everything else,

be always absorbed in the service of your Church,

and come at last to the joy of eternal light.

We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,

who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit,

one God, for ever and ever.

Prayer over the Gifts

Lord, look kindly

on the sacrificial gifts we place on your holy altar

on this feast of bishop Saint Ubald.

May our offering bring us your forgiveness

and give honor to your name.

We ask this through Christ our Lord.
