BLESSED BONIFACE AND BLESSED EMERIC, BISHOPS

Entrance Antiphon Ezek 34:11,23-24

I will look after my sheep, says the Lord, and I will raise up shepherds who will pasture them. I, the Lord, will be their God.

Opening Prayer

Father, you unceasingly give us

your redeeming grace through the Church,

the universal sacrament of salvation.

May we learn from the example of bishops Boniface and Emeric

to celebrate worthily your sacred mysteries

and care for the flock entrusted to our keeping.

We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,

who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit,

one God, for ever and ever.

Prayer over the Gifts

Lord, look kindly

on the sacrificial gifts we place on your holy altar

on this feast of bishops Boniface and Emeric.

May our offering bring us your forgiveness

and give honor to your name.

We ask this through Christ our Lord.

Communion Antiphon Jn 15:16

You did not choose me, says the Lord, No, I chose you; and I commissioned you to go out and bear fruit, fruit that will last.

Prayer after Communion

Lord, may we who are nourished

by these sacred mysteries

be inspired by the example of Blessed Boniface and Emeric.

May we strive to proclaim what they believed

and put into action what they taught.

We ask this through Christ our Lord.
