Entrance Antiphon Ezek 34:11,23-24

I will look after my sheep, says the Lord, and I will raise up one shepherd who will pasture them. I, the Lord, will be their God.

Opening Prayer

Father,

you inspired Blessed Alain, your bishop,
to reform and renew the canonical life
and to shepherd your flock with love.
By his intercession, grant that our commitment to follow Christ
may be expressed clearly in our lives;
and that we may strive with all our heart
to win others for Christ,
who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit,
one God, for ever and ever.

Prayer over the Gifts

Lord,

look kindly on the sacrificial gifts

we place on your holy altar
on this feast of Blessed Alain.

May our offering bring us your forgiveness
and give honor to your name.

We ask this through Christ our Lord.

Communion Antiphon Jn 15:16

You did not choose me, says the Lord, No, I chose you;
and I commissioned you to go out and bear fruit,
fruit that will last.

Prayer after Communion

Lord,

may we who are nourished by these sacred mysteries

be inspired by the example of Blessed Alain.
May we strive to proclaim what he believed
