Forgive the recent delays in updating the website. The increased pastoral responsibilities of the brethren since September have made it more difficult to keep up with things. Nonetheless we will now redouble our efforts to keep you up to date on what's going on here at the Stift.

It was with great joy that the Chapter of Stift Klosterneuburg admitted to its official "canon" or "list", Dom Rudolf Czaby.  Dom Rudolf made his solemn profession as a canon regular of Klosterneuburg on the Feast of the Presentation on Feb. 2, 2007.  It was a great celebration.  Rudolf entered the community with Doms Clemens, Elias and Josef, so with his solemn profession, the novitiate class entering in 2002 was complete. The solemn  profession by Rudolf of his vows of chastity, obedience, common property and stability.	He signs the document of profession on the altar. The document is placed under the corporal for the Mass.	The Provost prays the concluding prayer of the vows.
Dom Rudolf is clothed in the solemn habit of a canon of Klosterneuburg. Here he receives his mozzetta from the Provost.	Then come the congratulations, of course.	Bishop Markus made a special trip to attend!
