What's New at Klosterneuburg
A new year of studies and activity has begun here at the Stift. Here is a quick look at what everyone is up to:
Dom Lukas...
is going back to England to begin working on a masters
degree in biblical studies.
He will likely be ordained deacon in the fall of next year.
Dom Hugo...
has completed his theological studies in England and will
be ordained deacon on November 1, the Feast of All Saints.
He will be spending his deaconate here at the Stift
assisting in the Stiftskirche with Dom Clemens.
His priestly ordination will be next spring, probably late
May.
Dom Clemens...
has returned from Bergen, Norway, and will be working as Kaplan
(Parochial Vicar) at the Stiftskirche.
He will also be helping Dom Markus by teaching the novices classes in the
history of the order and spirituality.
Dom Rudolf...
is returning to Innsbrook to begin his second year of Theological studies,
after first visiting Rome with the seminary.

Dom Elias and Dom Bruno...
have gone to Bergen to replace Dom Clemens as Kaplans.
They are both also studying at the University of Bergen and hope to
begin a university chaplaincy.
They are expected to stay in Bergen for two years.

Dom Josef and Dom
Maximilian...
are going to Rome to study theology at the Angelicum.
Dom
Josef has completed his first year and has two more years to finish his
theological degree.
Dom
Maximilian will begin his first of two years of philosophy, after which
he will begin theology.
They are living at the Swedish College.
Dom
Georg...
is going to begin his theological studies at the Cistercian
Abbey of Heiligenkreuz. He will be attending the beatification
of Karl of Austria on Sunday October 3rd in Rome.
Dom Theobald, Dom Daniel
and Dom Alipius...
are beginning their novitiate year.
They will be here in Klosterneuburg preparing for their simple vows
next August.
